Japanese Lolita Style

This is inspired by Japanese Lolita Style which is very favorable in Japan.
You can see this style everywhere in Harajuku or some places in Tokyo.
The fans of this style usually dress and make up like dolls...
Well, this style is not worldwide yet...
But I like this!

The Face

Well..well....
I'm learning to draw the face now...
So, my illustration is gonna complete...
from head to toe ^_^

3 Steps Sketching

First, draw a pose or body line

It must be difficult for beginners.
The first time I drew it, it wasn't balanced.
The waist was too small, the breast was too big...
But practice makes perfect.
Though this is not perfect yet, but it's better than before...haha...

Think of a design you want.

Then color it..

I like pear green and combine it with ruby red..or raspberry?
well...whatever the name..
Color's name are fuzzy and arbitrary, so it's difficult to give a specific name.

Animation Uniform Style

Well... looking at this picture probably remind you of japanese animation.
Aha...that's my inspiration anyway..
I'm considering what color combination is suitable...

My First Own Sketches

This is my own sketch!!
I like high collar dress or shirt, with lace and layer..
But the hair is...
I just realize that the hair is too thick!
Haha...
Anyway, I like the color..^_^

 This is inspired by Cheongsam, I made it sleeveless.
Actually I planned on putting a big bow on the tie, but I think it's not suitable..
So I just put some beads on it..
Hmm...though I'm not satisfy with the picture, I really like the hair..
Reminds me of Chunli in street fighter..^_^

This is my teacher's design, and she taught us to color it.

I like the color combination so much!!!

Actually her original one is more beautiful than this...
This is the best I can draw so far...

Sketching and Coloring

On the second lesson, she drew an illustration and told us to copy.
The actual color was red, but I preferred softer color, so I used pink
For the lace, black is so matching!

My first lesson

I was taught to color this illustration made by the teacher.
I think she's in the same age with me or may be 2 years older?
She's very talented.
This was my first lesson with her and my first time colored a fashion sketch
